This old wooden door in a Gothic cathedral has a delicate pink shade due to stripped paint. The color of the door and the sense that its restoration is in progress contrast with the large stone blocks of the wall. Above the door frame, carved into the stone is a blank banner or scroll that hints at a story yet told.
