More information:

This is a vintage (in some eyes antique) Series 2 Sinclair ZX Spectrum from 1982. The 8-bit home computer inspired a generation of British programmers and computing enthusiasts, and became Britain's best-selling home computer at one stage as the public dipped their toes into a whole new world of technology. This computer, & subsequent Sinclair models, the BBC / Acorn, and Amstrad's home computers created a generation of clever and creative British computer programmers who tried to squeeze the most out of the Spectrum's limitations. Even in a world of 64-bit computing there is a whole sub-culture of modern tekkies who tinker and play around with the Spectrum for fun. Nearly 40 years old the Spectrum pictured has blemishes and some dust on it.
