Students dipping for bugs in a lake ecology BioBlitz at Hidden Meadow Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana, on May 25, 2016. In a BioBlitz, people are encouraged to come to a location for a short, intensive field study, to find and identify as many species as possible. There were many bioblitzes in national parks in 2016, to celebrate the centennial of the US National Park Service.
