Cw 7248 66524 6H35 Acton Bridge 6.7.2020 Freightliner diesel locomotive no 66524 passes under a foot bridge to the south of Acton Bridge station on the West Coast main line in Cheshire. The locomotive is hauling a train of wagons carrying empty domestic waste containers that have been to the incinerator at Runcorn to be emptied and the rubbish burnt. The containers are now being returned to a refuse transfer station at Northden in south Manchester for refilling. The train left Runcorn at 13.30 and ran under the head code or train reporting number of 6H35.
